Adam Jay joined AKA in June 2009 as the Director of Marketing and Partnerships with a decade of experience in theatre marketing. He began his marketing career at HHC Marketing as Senior Account Executive on Broadway shows including The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Full Monty, and Spamalot. Following this, Adam assumed the position of Marketing Manager for CNN. From 2005, he served as Marketing Director at Fox Theatricals, managing all marketing initiatives for Legally Blonde the Musical. He joined Richard Frankel Productions in 2007 as Director of Marketing to oversee RFP shows including Young Frankenstein, Gypsy, The Norman Conquests, and Rock of Ages. As Director of Marketing and Partnerships for aka, Adam has worked on shows including The Book of Mormon, Memphis, Billy Elliot, Jerusalem and Traces. Adam was instrumental in developing the Tri-state Middle and High School Playwriting contest with Billy Elliot, Fidelity FutureStage and LEAP. The winning Playwrights had their play performed on Broadway at the Imperial Theatre.
