Rain Kramer has always been motivated by a social conscience, a love of nature and a passion for the arts. She studied conservation in the Cayman Islands at the Marine Park there, writing and researching marine guide books. Her move to NYC allowed her to pursue her interest in film and production. She was the Associate Producer on the movie Safe Man, about safe crackers and the Mob, which was shown at the Sundance Film Festival. Rain was introduced to Early Stages and once she visited the programs in the NYC public schools she was moved to become involved and joined the board in 2001. The birth of her two children deepened her commitment to Early Stages and in 2006 she became the Board President.
