RYAN DONOHUE’s experience includes a variety of complex commercial litigation, securities litigation and white collar criminal litigation matters in federal and state courts. Before joining Akin Gump, Mr. Donohue was a litigation associate at another major New York law firm. Prior to his legal career, he worked in marketing and business development for a global commercial real estate services firm.

Mr. Donohue received his B.A. magna cum laude in communications, concentrating in journalism and media theory studies, in 2001 from New York University. He received his J.D. in 2006 from the Emory University School of Law, where he served as notes and comments editor of the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal. Mr. Donohue is a member of the New York Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District courts for the Southern, Eastern, Northern and Western Districts of New York and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the New York County Lawyers’ Association and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
