Flor Bromley is a Hispanic and bilingual (English/Spanish) actress, singer and storyteller. She started as a Storyteller in Peru and worked for the International Publishing House Santillana S.A. and the Peruvian Ministry Education. She took Storytelling to the most needed neighborhoods and public libraries. When she came to NYC, she continued to perform with different organizations including Making Books Sing, where she portrayed the first bilingual librarian Pura Belpre in the show "The Storyteller's Candle". She also has performed as Belpre with Urban Stages in their production of "South of the Border: Latin-American Folktales", touring these productions to schools and NY public libraries. Flor enjoys composing original songs and playing the guitar and recorder.
