Gerry Fierst (with Early Stages since 2000) has performed as a storyteller through out the US, Europe, Asia and Australia.  He is currently performing PLOG  an original jazz blog conducted by Butch Morris. In 2008-09, he represented the United States through its embassy in Spain performing stories with the well known children’s author Margaret Read MacDonald as part of the embassy’s cultural programming. Fierst’s audio tapes of world folklore and of Jewish stories have received Parent Choice Awards, and he is the recipient of a New Jersey State Council on the Arts Fellowship in Playwriting.  He is a graduate of Yale University .
