Jonathan Kruk

Jonathan Kruk , often cited as the top authority on Hudson Valley lore, also specializes in medieval tales. Using gestures, fabulous costumes, and a range of character voices, Jonathan regularly enchants young audiences, and brings out their lively participation. A graduate of Holy Cross College in Massachusetts, Jonathan studied educational theater at Bretton Hall College, England, and earned a Masters in Education at New York University. Jonathan gives over 300 performances and workshops yearly, and has told tales for the NY Botanical Gardens, the Yonkers River Fest, the Cloisters Museum, the Rheedlan Foundation for Truants, the Central Park 1982 Nuclear Freeze Rally, and the Hudson Valley Psychiatric Centers.

He has been a noted speaker for the Association for the Education of Young Children, the Early Childhood Councils, the NYS Reading Councils, and at many teachers' colleges. His compact disk, The Rainbow Dragon, is available on the Wizmak label.
