Navida Stein (with Early Stages since 2007) is a storyteller, actress, musician, and playwright.  She has worked Off-Broadway and regionally doing new plays, musicals (everything from "Fiddler on the Roof" to "CATS"), and Shakespeare.  Navida's television credits include "Law & Order" spots for Nickelodeon and she has appeared in independent films and commercials.  As an artist-in-residence, Navida conducts storytelling, creative drama, music & movement, creative writing workshops and staff developments in
schools, colleges, museums, libraries, community centers and for arts-in-education organizations such as Young Audiences New York, Arts Horizons, Theatre for a New Audience and Arts Connection.  She also trains and mentors artists to work in the schools.  She conceived and developed the arts-in-education training seminar for The Actors' Work Program, an organization serving the members of the performing arts unions.  Navida has worked with a variety of populations from gifted and talented to at-risk and special needs students.  Her workshops are eclectic in nature and combine elements of story, music, movement, yoga, poetry & playwrighting.
